Iggy’s Making an Impact in his Community

Published

Since joining our community, Iggy has expressed a sincere desire to become involved in local volunteer opportunities, so he was delighted when Camille, an assistant, found a weekly opportunity for them to do together.

Going strong for four months, Camille and Iggy hop in the Angel House van each Thursday to head to the Austin Harvest food market. There, they pick up four bags of fresh produce and snacks to deliver to the free food fridge in front of New Jehovah M B Church, fondly remembered as the church of Elbert, our first core member.

Thank you, Camille and Iggy, for being examples of stewards of the community and showing how simple actions can make an impactful difference.
