L’Arche Chicago’s Information Security Measures
When you donate to L’Arche Chicago online, your credit card or bank account information is secured by an independent payments processor. You will see the “closed” lock symbol in the lower part of your browser screen (often it is yellow as well) when you are on our secure donation pages. You will also notice in your browser address bar that the address starts with “https” on those donation pages. This means that information entered on those pages is encrypted for your security. This encryption is more secure than using a credit card in physical form at a store, for example. Please be aware that despite our best efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security.
If you have any questions regarding the security of your online donation by credit card or bank withdrawal, please call us at (708) 660-1600.
