On September 9, 2018, we had our second annual Heart of L’Arche Benefit and Auction at the Nineteenth Century Club in Oak Park. The theme of the evening was that the heart of L’Arche is in our three homes – Angel, Friendship and Peace. During the program, assistants and core members shared stories about faith, music, meals together and more. It was a great time for fellowship and for celebrating the beauty of our Chicago community.
It was wonderful to see new faces among the familiar, and we hope to see more in the years to come. We could not have done it without the support of our donors and attendees. Your generous contributions will have a tremendous impact on the way we deliver high-quality care and standard of living in our homes. We can’t say it enough – thank you!
