We welcome our neighbors to our monthly Community Night, hosting 100s of new visitors each year.

It is a time of neighborhood outreach and education; an opportunity to build friendships between people with and without disabilities in our neighborhood–a time of prayer, celebration, and fellowship.

The impact of L’Arche Chicago in our neighborhoods is two-fold:

  1. There is a strong, positive impact on the residents who are empowered to be fully integrated into their neighborhood and share their gifts.

  2. There is a strong, positive impact on the people in the neighborhood, who have the opportunity to get to know individuals with intellectual disabilities. Research shows that exposure to people with disabilities is vital in combating pervasive prejudice and negative social representations.

We gather to bring together old friends and new. This is a time to celebrate together and to deepen who we are as L’Arche. We invite you to join us!

Entrance is accessible and is on the south side the church, at the east half of the parking lot.
