This past week, Dianna, an international volunteer from Germany, has been sharing her barista skills with Angel House, and we’ve been loving every moment! Over the last few days, Dianna has been whipping up homemade frappuccinos, a recipe she learned from her mom, who discovered it while living in Greece, but admittedly, Dianna used TikTok to help her master the recipe.
These frappuccinos have quickly become a fun and essential part of Angel House’s morning routine, with Iggy, one of our core members, and Netta, assistant, joining in on the ritual. Both are big fans of the treat—but with a little extra sugar to sweeten the deal!
Today, Dianna passed on her frappuccino-making skills to Iggy, teaching him the step-by-step process so he can make the drinks even when she’s not around. The joy of making these frappuccinos goes beyond their delicious taste; the process involves teamwork, creativity, and plenty of laughter. As we welcome spring, Dianna shared that these iced treats are the perfect sip for relaxing on the porch. We have a feeling Angel House will be savoring many sunny mornings this year, one frappuccino at a time!
