Friends & Family Gather to Support David and Tim!
Last Friday night, David and Tim (core members) displayed their creative work at the Arts of Life show. In support of their achievements, family and friends gathered to support the two artists. Tim, a decades long member of Arts of Life, is no stranger to art shows, but the evening marked David’s first show with the organization.
Filled with joy, both core members smiled throughout the evening. Tim explained his piece utilized graphite pencils, a medium he described as tedious but worth the commitment. In the upcoming months, Tim is excited to experiment with a new medium, oil pastels.
David presented two pieces that were displayed as mirrored paintings on opposite sides of the showroom. David’s debut work was so popular a bidding battle broke out between two assistants. L’Arche Chicago is proud of our artists and looks forward to many more opportunities to admire their work in the future.
