We can be a sign of hope that people, no matter what our differences, can live together as brothers and sisters and that differences enrich our lives. Living in L'Arche is mutual living, life of giving and receiving. The core members take care of us in as many ways as we care for them. They teach us as well as we teach them, mostly they teach us ways of the heart. A businessman changed his whole way of being with his workers after he served on a L'Arche Board. He realized his workers had things to teach him and knew ways of improving his business. A young college graduate who was unhappy with her English major started a master's degree program in special education after living a year at L'Arche.

Serving or being in communication with a L'Arche community for a short time can have a profound effect on your life.

We will be happy to give presentations to your organizations, youth groups, study and book review groups, college, university, religion classes and the like.

We pray daily for our friends and supporters.
