Because we are a small community and a non-profit organization, those who work for us wear many hats.
We welcome and may even depend on skilled volunteers to help us with or take on certain functions.
These include:
- Planning, organizing, carrying out and evaluating events and activities at which we announce L’Arche and raise funds to support the community.
- Researching, organizing, writing and editing grant proposals.
- Designing, enhancing and producing publicity materials.
- Building relationships with local radio, television, print and online media.
- Building relationships with local vendors including vehicle dealerships, grocery and general merchandise retailers, various kinds of repair and maintenance professionals, etc.
- Building relationships with airlines, travel agents and related service providers.
- Repairing vehicles, plumbing, wooden or other household fixtures, painting, energy-proofing or otherwise assisting with home upkeep.
- Providing personal training, physical therapy or other wellness related services
